Our Mission and Commitment
The Wakefield Cemetery Conservancy is a distinguished 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and meticulous documentation of historic burial grounds throughout Wakefield and surrounding communities. Our organization prioritizes the safeguarding of cultural heritage through critical restoration initiatives, including monument repair, hazardous tree mitigation, and precise stone resetting in accordance with the standards set by the Association for Gravestone Studies (AGS). We are proud to collaborate with the 'Wakefield NH Adopt Cemetery' initiative on Facebook to ensure the enduring legacy of Carroll County's historic cemeteries.
